The positive change in total mean difference <\/strong> of 4.21 is greater than <\/strong> on standard deviation of 4.00. This a statistically significant effect.<\/p>\n

The calculated T (-) value <\/strong> of 9.86 is significant at the <0.5 level. This clearly shows with 95% (or greater) assurance <\/strong> that the 4.21 change <\/strong> in total mean difference is not due to chance.<\/p>\n

One can assume the alternate hypotheses is in effect which states that the change <\/strong> in total mean difference is due to the AwareComm intervention (faciliated computer-based discovery process) <\/strong> with the population under study, all things equal.<\/p>\n

Groups 1, 2, 3 and 4 (all men) were facilitated by AwareComm male staff at Facility A. Group 5 (all women) was facilitated by AwareComm make staff at Facility B.
