Dear Richard,<\/p>\n

What a wonderful discovery I made today, which to me seems like a treasure that had been waiting for me all along waiting to be unearthed, dusted off and brought out to shine, enrich, change.<\/p>\n

To realize that we have this gift within us and could so easily miss out on owning it and using it for my own benefit and that of others.<\/p>\n

You see, all my life since I am aware of it, I felt that there is nothing I had to offer to anyone. I hated the thought of coming to the end of my life always feeling like I was the little child that had to be protected, helped along to survive, never growing up enough to be the one helping someone else and having the strength to lift them in their weakness.<\/p>\n

Today I have realized that whatever I have gone through good and bad has helped shape the person that I am and that I didn’t know I was. I was seeing only the negative side, the hurting side, that wanted to keep me small, helpless and useless, while all the time all the chiseling was helping bring out the jewel inside to shine and reflect the light that was received.<\/p>\n

I am very grateful to God for this wonderful realization and to Life Skills U for showing me and helping me in this life-changing experience.<\/p>\n
