The reality was in his final moments he gave to his father what he didn&#8217;t know how to be, a father. <em>Thus,<\/em> <em>in that moment he realized that his role: to father his father, and give him to God.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>The journey of this man is like many great men, one of\u00a0<em>Invictus:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>&#8220;Out of the night that covers me,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Black as the pit from pole to pole,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> I thank whatever gods may be<\/em><br \/>\n<em> For my unconquerable soul.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>In the fell clutch of circumstance<\/em><br \/>\n<em> I have not winced nor cried aloud.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Under the bludgeoning of chance<\/em><br \/>\n<em> My head is bloody, but unbowed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Beyond this place of wrath and tears<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Looms but the Horror of the shade,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> And yet the menace of the years<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>It matters not how strait the gate,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> How charged with punishments the scroll,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> I am the master of my fate:<\/em><br \/>\n<em> I am the captain of my soul.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Invictus by William Ernest Henley (1849\u20131903)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Today this 77 year old man stands tall with serenity and grace.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He has said that:<br \/>\n&#8220;<em>I am reminded each day that\u00a0sunrise is a magical moment, the blending of darkness with light. the earth refreshing itself blending darkness with light.. and at the end of the day the earth again blends its light with darkness &#8211; cleansing again. It simply is planet earth breathing all of life&#8217;s experiences.
