Part 6 &#8211;\u00a0Man Versus Machine<\/h2>\n<h4><strong>Man Versus Machine<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong><em>Looking Back, Moving Forward:<\/em><\/strong> In the last eMod Buddy Blog we took a glimpse at the \u201c\u201cBack to Basic\u201d Values and reflected on a time when our culture and world was strong, growing and alive with possibilities. The question we left with was again one of HOW, specifically HOW DO we go back to this golden cultural time? In addressing this question we need to remember, as discussed in previous eMod Buddy Blogs\u00a0from this series (i.e. Technology Seduction, Realities of Seduction and Seductive Drives Solutions), that the very technology that got us into this mess,<strong> is part of the solution<\/strong>. Thus, in this eMod Buddy Blog take a few minutes and consider one of today and tomorrow\u2019s GREAT DEBATES: <em>Man versus Machine.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8220;I am in the camp that is concerned about super intelligence&#8230;<br \/>\nFirst the machines will do a lot of jobs for us and not be super intelligent.<br \/>\nThat should be positive if we manage it well.<br \/>\nA few decades after that though the intelligence is strong enough to be a concern&#8230;<br \/>\nI agree with Elon Musk and some others on this and don&#8217;t understand<br \/>\nwhy some people are not concerned.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">-Bill Gates<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201cThe saddest aspect of life right now\u00a0is that science gathers knowledge<br \/>\nfaster than society gathers wisdom.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/em>&#8211; Isaac Asimov &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>The battle between Artificial Intelligence and developing Human Intelligence will determine the course of our country and the course of civilization, as we know it today.<\/p>\n<p>To survive we must <strong>raise the conscious level of people<\/strong> and reach a new level of \u201cHuman Intelligence.\u201d<\/p>\n<pre style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Yet the proverbial question is again, <\/strong>\r\n<strong>NOT What <\/strong>\r\n<strong>BUT HOW do we\u00a0truly become more intelligent?\r\n\r\n<\/strong><\/pre>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"embeddedSmartPlayerInstance\" class=\"tscplayer_inline\" src=\"\/\/library-c.pocketwisdominsights.com\/pwi_stream_flip\/human_intel_s\/index.html?embedIFrameId=embeddedSmartPlayerInstance\" width=\"545\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<pre style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><u>\r\n<\/u> WHAT\u2019S NEXT? <\/strong><\/pre>\n<p>In the quest for \u201chuman intelligence,\u201d overcoming FEAR is perhaps our greatest challenge.
