Opening Insights: A Co-Lab™ Awakens
One of the newest figures to emerge on the world stage in recent years is the social entrepreneur.
This is usually someone who burns with desire to make a positive social impact on the world,
but believes that the best way of doing it is, as the saying goes, not by giving poor people a fish and feeding them for a day,
but by teaching them to fish, in hopes of feeding them for a lifetime.

A Collaboration Laboratory Institute (Co-Lab™) focuses on empowering cultural transformation, raising human intelligence (with experiential learning) and restoring solidarity at work, home, worship and play, while neutralizing the impact of the “Shadow” Culture. Co-Labs use a unique blend of technology, methodology, human understanding and data science, providing knowledge of what is right, so people can see what is wrong.
Developing an intelligent [eco]system with the purpose of attaining cultural solidarity requires that we seamlessly connect multiple functions to create a natural, organic flow that becomes a fabric that weaves itself through the culture of any organization.
Recently, a group of entry level employees and a store level manager came together for a private Co-Lab™ workshop aboard the Midnight Sun, the prestigious 68 ft. sailing vessel in the beautiful San Diego Bay. Through the direction, leadership, collaboration, discovery and exploration within the safety and transformational experiential learning environment of the Co-Lab™, each participant began to develop individual and collective sentience and empowerment. Leadership and Followship emerged. Here is the story of a leader...
Informational Insights: Finding a Place in the Pack
From humble beginnings a natural leader emerged. He was of Mexican descent, respectful, street smart and humble. He valued and intuitively recognized wisdom and opportunity. His natural positioning was one of selflessness, care of and support of others. Starting from the bottom he had worked his way up to a managerial positioning, using grit and resilience instilled in him from his father, who taught him the importance and value of not just hard work, but being a moral, honest and kind person. His mind was clear and unobscured by the ignorance of over education and indoctrination - his lessons came from life rather than the ivory tower of academia; hence, he was a doer, not a talker.
He was big and solid in stature, soft spoken with a bigger heart. A man of few words, yet when he spoke people listened - as his words were spoken with clarity and conviction from a deep place within his soul.
As he stepped aboard the Midnight Sun, like many, he experienced the clarity of the opportunity before him and the air of wisdom and reverence that embodied the power of the mission, vision and goals of the Co-Lab™ environment and its visionary leader. Unlike many entitled millennials, he placed value on opportunity and helping others. As a result, he was naturally able to follow and learn from the insight of his Co-Lab™ mentor and leader. By doing so, demonstrated to the young millennials what a true follower looked like, thus elevating him to the leader of the Employee Empowered Co-Lab™. He met a man, he recognized and learned he could trust and together they made a commitment to do...
As he learned, he assessed; as he learned, he applied; as he learned, he discovered; as he learned, he united.
Failure was not an option as he discovered the importance of the Co-Lab™ not just for his own sentience (career development and honoring his father's legacy), but for his organization, community, country and world as a whole.
The Employee Empowered Co-Lab™ team spent the day absorbed in the collective power and insight of the Co-Lab™. His true sentience and goals emerged as he learned and discovered:
Knowledge gained this weekend just makes this Co-Lab™ experience greater than what is has been.
The Co-Lab™ Retreat really touched on the principles and real reasons we are doing this Co-Lab™.
The Co-Lab™ provides tools beyond my belief, prepares us for a great career and at the same time we are helping the community and changing lives of many. But it will start with me, I need to leave any fear behind.
We need to start with trust in order to create the impossible. Which will lead to discovery in what change we can bring to our personal lives, as well as others... which is amazing!
A way of how to make things work, instead of proving that things don’t work and simply creating a negative experience.
Learning that money isn’t what creates power, but power creates money and the value of that.
We are going back to the basics, starting with us, making sure we are strong, making sure we can run with the wolves and be part of the pack.
If we keep having the same problem and no solution then we are trying to solve the wrong problem.
We are trying to fix a problem bigger than [Our Organization], which is what really triggers my excitement.
From this point it starts with the team, to find individuals that share the same focus to help and join a magnificent thing - a Co-Lab™.
Assurance that we have a great team [The Co-Lab™ Institute Team] behind us with tons of knowledge to help us with any matter.
He defined his place in the pack... and helped his followers learn how to do the same.
Possibilities for Consideration: All for One, One for All
Inclusivity has to be seen as a benefit to the community. The lack of diversity has to be seen as a detriment to that community.

- Are you a part of an organization or community that is falling apart socially and economically?
- Are you a part of an organization or community that is in desperate need of transformation or change?
- Are you a part of an organization or community that is suffering from the lack of leadership and the effects of the "Shadow" Culture?
We all have passion that we hold near and dear to our hearts and at the forefront of our minds, this is our true sentience (what we really value and want to contribute to our world and others). Some people like talking about problems, and don't want problems to be solved because then they would have nothing to talk about, these are usually the "educated." Other people want to find real and implementable solutions. At some point in our lives we all have to make the choose about who we are and who we want to be.
- What if you could be a part of cultural transformation?
- What if you could be a part of empowering your organization and community?
- What if you could be a part of the social, economic and cultural empowerment and growth of your world?
- What if you could do something to reverse the addiction problems within businesses, communities and schools?
- What if you could do something of value for your people, animals, organizations, communities and country?
- What if you could share your wisdom, insight, knowledge and experience to help educate others in the application?
- What if you could be a part of a movement to unite and support people in developing collective and individual sentience?
