Today, anything can be altered. Just because content is available on the internet, doesn’t mean it is valid and can be trusted. Just because content comes from an established source with historic credibility, doesn’t mean it is valid and can be trusted.
Monsters exist, but they are too few in number to be truly dangerous. More dangerous are the common men, the functionaries ready to believe and to act without asking questions.

Informational Insights
Back in the day, we had TRUSTED journalists, TRUSTED editors and TRUSTED publishers who would validate, certify and authenticate content. However, today with the realities of the biases and agendas of media, press and more, we cannot, do not and should not trust the content on the internet, no matter how TRUSTED they may have been in the past. This reality is becoming more and more clear with the advent of new technologies… that seem to have neglected and ignored the question of “not can we, but should we?”
Faking Audios:
Faking Videos:
What does this mean?
This means we can no longer trust ANY content on the internet – today all documents, books, videos and audios can be altered and we wouldn’t even know it.
Possibilities for Consideration
So WHO can we trust and HOW can we trust?
The real problem is not whether machines think but whether men do.

Technology is nothing. What’s important is that you have a faith in people, that they’re basically good and smart, and if you give them tools, they’ll do wonderful things with them.
– Steve Jobs
We need to develop and find Institutions and Organizations that we can trust, where content is not only validated, certified and authenticated by trusted staff, but where the readers, consumers and members also collaborate in the validation, certification and authentication process.
This process ensures that there is data assurance, resulting in informed and empowered STAKEHOLDERS who have the ability to assess and discern fact from fiction.
The human spirit must prevail over technology.
– Albert Einstein
